2021 BC Cabernet Sauvignon

Our pristine blocks of Cabernet are grown in extremes. The intensity of this vintage’s hue - deep garnet with a blue tint around the meniscus - speaks to the fierce nature of Wallula Vineyard in particular. Planted on steep, silt-loam cliffs overlooking the Columbia River, our Cabernet vines are exposed to high winds and intense sun rays, with just enough water to concentrate each fruit cluster to perfection.

Aromas of crème de cassis, violets, and graphite burst from the glass. Deep blue fruit flavors and pyrazines meld together into a lavish and rich palate, sustained by earthy tannins and refreshing acidity. Fifteen months of barrel aging occurs in lightly toasted French puncheons, allowing this spectacular fruit to be enhanced by our gentle and balanced use of oak.

The 2021 BC Cabernet Sauvignon gracefully leaps between refined elegance and enormity, ensuring that this wine will only improve with age. This vintage is the fullest expression of our signature terroir-driven, rugged, yet sophisticated style.
